Hired to work as a site editor to grow visits to About.com Seattle (now Trip Savvy). Managed a city forum. Worked closely with the press. Wrote and published articles (shown below).
PROBLEM: Trip Savvy (formerly About.com) needed to increase visits to its website.
RESEARCH: Google Analytics data showed local attraction and travel posts performed best.
SOLUTION: Developed a targeted article schedule to add value to customers by sharing best tips on things to do in the city. Wrote press releases to media contacts about new citywide events, new restaurants, and new stores.
RESULT: Grew traffic from 10,000 to 100,000 unique visitors per month in 12 months using Twitter, press releases, and city forum.
